BRIEFING
At a time when the meetings postponed by the pandemic were being recovered, Parfois challenged us to develop an event favorable to the creation and sharing of spontaneous content in different media, allowing them to present and promote its collections in the venue and in the everyday life of the invited influencers.
SOLUTION
Spring is a synonym for nature and strong connections. It is a time of new beginnings, marked by the blooming of greenery, enabling us to take a few moments for introspection. It translates the essence of disconnection from the outside world to make way for a connection with our inner self, and to devote the necessary time and attention to ourselves and those around us.
For this reason, we have come up with a unique event that provided a memorable experience and, at the same time, introduced the collections in the venue, as an ode to spring and the inherent connection with the natural elements: Parfois (Re)Connect.
Parfois thus invited 14 Portuguese, Spanish and French influencers to disconnect for two days from a chaotic and stressful everyday life, (re)connecting with nature and embracing the peace and tranquility which allowed them to create new memories and friendships.
DAY 1
The first day of the event started with the guests’ arrival at Porto’s airport, where they were received by a team of drivers that would drive them to Quinta dos Murças. The spirit of discovery kicked off during the 2-hour trip – the jeeps were properly made ready with selected music that brought, right from the first moment, the harmony that the Alto Douro Wine Region provides.
Upon arrival at the destination, surrounded by a stunning view of the river, Quinta’s hosts welcomed the guests with lemonade and orangeade, seasonal and locally produced fruits. After a few moments of socializing and enjoying the space, an outdoor lunch followed, prepared by Chef Mauricio Ghiglione.
During the afternoon, blessed by the mild climate of the oldest wine-demarcated region, they were able to go for a jeep ride and a walk through the vineyards – some unique moments that allowed them to appreciate the landscape of the Alto Douro and the nature of the river valley, with its steep slopes and rugged soils.
The merging of the guests and the region’s surroundings was the ideal scenario for socializing, picking flowers, and making memories. At the end of the afternoon, the participants were invited to enjoy a hot drink in the middle of the vineyards that surround the Six Senses Douro Valley Hotel – where they would be staying.
Upon arriving at the rooms, the influencers found welcome gifts: snacks, customized Parfois pajamas, and even clothes and accessories from the brand’s new collection, which they would wear to dinner.
As evening fell, the evening began with a cocktail party, followed by Anouck’s musical performance that captured everyone’s attention until the very end. After the performance, dinner was served. A carefully selected decoration and ambient music served as the ideal atmosphere for a serene, pleasant, and lively dinner, with no shortage of laughter or conversation.
DAY 2
The next morning started with a superb breakfast at the hotel, before the departure to the PinhĂ£o Pier. At the pier, a rabelo boat decorated with items from the new Parfois Home collection awaited the guests for a final farewell to the banks of the river, this time up close.
After this last moment of experiencing the region, it was time for the visitors to bid farewell to the Douro and the new friendships they had made or reconnected with, heading for the Porto airport – from where they would return home.
