A City with a View
The Go Eyewear Group is one of the largest international companies in the eyewear industry, creating and developing eyeglasses under different brands.
To launch their new collections of the Ana Hickmann Eyewear and Hickmann Eyewear brands, the group wanted to invite a group of foreign influencers and give them avery Portuguese experience.
In a bid to show the genuine side of Portugal, Lisbon was the chosen location for a day full of activities. Since it is a city widely visited by tourists, we wanted toshow a version of Lisbon through the eyes of those who live there,as if they were in their own homes, in their own neighborhoods. And so the Neighborhood concept was born.
The concept communication started with theinvitation, in the form of an interactive landing page, which worked both as a source of information about the event and as a collection of some curious city facts.
The day of the event began with the presentation of the collections at the hotel, followed by a walk through some of the less busy streets of the city, taking in the best views Lisbon has to offer. Theinfluencers were accompanied by a photographer at every moment of the tours so that they could enjoy the event without having to worry constantly about producing content.
For lunch, the standard restaurant was replaced by a more typical neighborhood experience. The influencers were welcomed at a house in the neighborhood next to the Sao Jorge Castle and offered a menu full of different dishes from Portuguese cuisine. As a surprise, they enjoyed anintimate performance by Vânia Duarte, one of fado’s new talents.
To top off the day, they participated in a workshop of true Portuguese art: tile painting. More than just experiencing the city, they were able to take back a unique souvenir.
