Designing a lifestyle


Ione Omena has been in love with fashion since an early age. Succeeding her studies in London and New York, she decided to create a brand of prints in Portugal inspired by her Brazilian origin. Our challenge was to construct and design the brand’s name and visual identity.


More than designing clothing, this brand sells a sophisticated lifestyle that is expressed through every little detail whilst embodying the brand’s creator. With this luxurious and bohemic concept as a basis, the strategy and positioning were developed, and we came up with the following brand signature: Lifestyle Designer.

By following the same line of thought as other fashion brands that use their creator’s names, the name chosen for the brand was Ione. Not only does the name convey the soul and creativity of the creator, but it also conveys her style and personality. To create the logo, we developed a monogram that consist of the name’s overlapped letters. These letters were later on also applied to the different pieces of the collection. We were also responsible for the creation of different communication materials that translate the brand’s behavior such as stationary, labels and delivery packaging.
